Ludhiana, December 17, 2024: The Ludhiana Management Association (LMA), in collaboration with the All India Management Association (AIMA), successfully hosted its 46th Annual Awards Function at Park Plaza, Ludhiana.
The event was honored by the esteemed presence of Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Honorable Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest.
The prestigious ceremony celebrated excellence in leadership, innovation, and sustainable business practices. The following awardees were recognized for their outstanding contributions in their respective categories:
- The LMA-Vardhman Award for Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 was presented to Munish Avasthi, Managing Director of Sportking India Limited, for his exceptional leadership and entrepreneurial success.
- The LMA-Dayanand Munjal Award for Manager of the Year 2023 was awarded to Manohara Kumar, Whole Time Director and CEO of Toppan Speciality Films, for his exemplary managerial contributions.
- The LMA-Trident Award for Young Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 was bestowed upon Taranjeet Singh Bhamra, Founder and CEO of AgNext Technologies, in recognition of his innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
- The LMA-Sat Paul Mittal Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year 2023 was conferred on Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman and Managing Director of Avon Cycles Limited, for his lifetime contributions to business and industry.
- The LMA-Hari Chand Award for CSR & Sustainable Practices for the Year 2023 went to Vinayak Mittal, Director of Aarti International Limited, for his outstanding efforts in corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
- The LMA-Sohan Lal Pahwa Award for Emerging SME of the Year 2023 was awarded to Vikram Chhabra, Managing Director of Sajjan Precision Castings, for his achievements in building a thriving small and medium enterprise.
- The LMA-Mrs.Bector's Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023 was presented to Kamna Raj Aggarwalla, Marketing Director of GDPA Fasteners, for her inspiring entrepreneurial leadership.
In his address, Chief Guest Shri Gulab Chand Kataria commended LMA's commitment to promoting business excellence and encouraging innovation in Punjab. He highlighted the role of such platforms in inspiring future leaders and entrepreneurs.
