Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama highlights the adventures of the legendary court poet and master of wit, Tenali Rama (Krishna Bharadwaj). In recent episodes, Tenali is seen searching for a place to stay the night on his return to Vijayanagar, the kingdom he was once banished from.
In the upcoming episodes, King Krishnadevraya’s general Timmarasu (Amit Pachori) discovers that Tenali Rama has returned to Vijayanagar but warns him to remain hidden, as his duty as Mahamantri compels him to inform the King. However, as a loyal friend, he gives Tenali a chance to remain undetected. Meanwhile, Tenali cleverly chooses to hide in Tathacharya’s (Pankaj Berry) house, knowing no one would suspect he would seek shelter at his rival’s place. Mistaken for a ghost by Tathacharya’s associates Dhani (Sunny Kishnan), Mani (Sohit Soni), Tenali continues solving cases secretly, sparking rumors of his return among villagers. When the King hears Tathacharya’s claims about Tenali’s "ghost" and gathers clues from Timmarasu and the villagers, he becomes convinced that Tenali Rama is alive and back in Vijayanagar.
Will Tenali succeed in keeping his comeback under wraps?
Krishna Bharadwaj, playing the role of Tenali Rama in Tenali Rama said, “Tenali is back in Vijayanagar with a sense of duty and determination and his focus is to protect the kingdom from the looming threat. He’s driven by his unwavering loyalty to Vijayanagar and uses his wit and wisdom to navigate the challenges while staying under the radar. This track is filled with lots of humour and light moments as his adversary Tathacharya mistakenly assumes Tenali to be a ghost.”
