‘Squid Game’ Season 3: Betrayal, Bloodshed, and the Final Chapter Begins
Netflix’s global sensation ‘Squid Game’ returns for its third and final season, promising brutal new games, internal betrayal, and moral chaos as Player 456 hits his lowest point. Following the gut-wrenching ending of Season 2, ‘Squid Game: Season 3’ picks up amid a sea of chaos. Seong Gi-hun (Player 456), once a passive participant, now finds himself broken but unwilling to give up. A failed rebellion, the loss of a friend, and a chilling betrayal push him to the edge. Yet the Squid Game never stops — and survival demands sacrifice.
This final chapter deepens the psychological horror of the deadly competition as surviving players face even more ruthless games, designed to shatter minds as well as bodies. Each round brings impossible choices, questioning morality and the cost of humanity. Gi-hun must decide whether to stay true to his beliefs or become what he once feared.

Meanwhile, In-ho (Front Man) resumes control of the arena, preparing for the arrival of mysterious VIPs, as his brother, Jun-ho, continues to dig deeper into the Game’s secrets. Unbeknownst to him, a traitor lurks, threatening to unravel everything.
The season is directed, written, and produced by Hwang Dong-hyuk, the Emmy®-winning creator who made history as the first Asian to win Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series. The star-studded cast includes Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Wi Ha-jun, and many more, with a special appearance by Park Hee-soon.
Expected to release in late 2025, Season 3 promises to be a high-stakes emotional rollercoaster — a final act of power, betrayal, and survival that will leave fans breathless.
